In serving his clients, Emerson brings the culmination of more than forty years of managerial leadership experience and expertise at all levels of the organizational hierarchy both in business and government service. Emerson Stone is a Distinguished Military Graduate–University of Oregon and combat veteran—serving twice in command and in four battle campaigns with the United States Marine Corps. A short-list of his military and civil service assignments include that of company commander, headquarters commandant, secretary of the general staff, protocol officer, operations officer, training officer, chief, human resources division, administration officer, strategic long-range planner, Joint Chiefs of Staff Contingency War Plans Officer for Second U.S. Army, Army Community Service Officer Europe, and Organizational Effectiveness Officer, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineers, Heidelberg, Germany. He received his special ops/combat fitness training jointly with the United States Army and Navy. Born in Hollywood, California where his father helped develop Capitol Records into a world entertainment leader, Emerson learned early the importance of innovation backed by sound business practice. He began his business career in the health and fitness industry with European Health Spas, Jack LaLanne Health Clubs and later as CEO Unified-Health-Fitness Corporation. His master's at Oregon was followed by Ph.D. focus in executive development at Harvard University/Fielding Institute, including specialized executive stress management study with Professor Herbert Benson at Harvard. Emerson is a leading expert in the application computer technology to executive performance improvement dating back to his work on the application of the Apple Newton with Dartmouth Tuck School staff and internet website innovation with MIT Slone educated entrepreneurs. A short-list of his business positions includes chairman of the board, chief executive officer, executive VP marketing, chief systems architect, VP sales, chief administrative officer, chief operating officer, management consultant, trainer, training architect, certified executive coach/personal fitness trainer, author, and union business agent.
